Billions of breathless earthlings watching black and white tv screens as a ghostly looking figure moved slowly down the ladder wanted to hear what the first man to place a foot on another celestial body would say.

Late President John Kennedy gave a speech in 1963 about America going to the moon before the end of the 1960’s,that was seemingly the vision for America in that decade.

Neil Armstrong was known to have gotten a pilot license while his mates got drivers license,he went on 78 missions and was awarded the air medal with 2gold stars. He tested more than 200 kinds of aircraft.

As he dropped from the last rung of the ladder onto the moon,he said ”that one small step for man”.

And for the next two and half hours,Armstrong and Aldin erected a pole with the American flag that was rigged to appear as if it were flying. He collected samples of moon soil, conducted experiments and snapped pictures.

He also left a plaque on the moon that read ”HERE MEN FROM PLANET EARTH FIRST SET FOOT UPON THE MOON JULY 1969 A.D,WE CAME IN PEACE FOR ALL MANKIND”.

In President Richard Nixon’s Words”Because of what you(Neil Armstrong) have done the heavens have become a part of man’s world”.

He was indeed a great visioneer and leader in the exploration of the space.Find Your place of relevance
